1- Overview
We identified an opportunity to make fashion production more accessible for entrepreneurs and emerging designers, who often face barriers such as high minimum order quantities.
The challenge was to understand the deeper issues users face when developing their garments, build an easy and viable solution based on the data we collected, and ensure that users could easily manage collections on their own.
Goals:
1. Understanding the deeper challenges users face when trying to develop their garments.
2. Enabling users to easily manage collections on their own.
2- Insights
Together with the team, we identified insights and discovered that 80% of users have little to no knowledge of the fashion industry. We also found that manufacturing workshops usually require high production volumes per design, which represents a major pain point for entrepreneurs.
3- User flow
We created a user flow based on the insights we uncovered and the features the app required. This allowed us to reduce user friction, enabling them to self-manage and request a quote within minutes.
4- Wireframes
We analyzed the entire process to make it more seamless. We explored the idea of separating and prioritizing the most relevant information to avoid confusing the user. We also crafted short and clear copy tailored to each section and scenario to ensure maximum clarity for the user.
5- Prototype
We built a functional prototype with interactive elements. Once it was ready, we validated the flow with users to ensure it truly met their needs.
